THE PROCESS
Every GLAD chocolate bar is made from quality cacao beans at local workshop, in Porto.
We source our beans from like-minded cacao farmers around the world. Once the cacao arrives at our LAB it is our turn to turn these magical beans into chocolate.
All while maintaining and enhancing each origin’s flavours, aromas and characteristics. To do so, the cacao needs to go through a few steps before we can enjoy it and taste it as we know it: chocolate.
GLAD was born with the purpose of introducing cacao’s true and unique flavours. Our commitment lies in crafting chocolate that embody authenticity, free from artificial flavours, emulsifiers and additives.
More than a chocolate brand… we are a community aiming to bring you the finest flavours and highest quality ingredients, from the cocoa bean into chocolates you can taste and share with your friends and family. We are grateful and glad to be a part of your favourite moments.
