Hacienda Limón is located at the foot of the Andes Mountain Range, between endless plantations of cacao and banana. Owner Samuel von Rütte, together with his wife Anita & four other families, run the 110-hectare plantation. No insecticides or fungicides are used on the farm, and only very reduced herbicides (spot application) are ever utilised.
